The Hamboree was the second largest hamfest in the southeast.  The event took place in February until it conflicted with the Superbowl in 2007 and was cancelled.  In 2008, it will place in October instead.  This may be the start of a new tradition, but it is also during a vacation that I already had planned, so I wont be in the show this year.  I'm not sure if I'll continue to help after that.  The website for the event is http://www.hamboree.org/

I worked the show from 1999 to 2006.  My position title changed from year to year depending on who was in charge, but basically I started out as an audio/visual specialist and ended up as the chair of the audio/visual committee.  I do not currently have any pictures, if anyone has pictures from old Hamfests that include me or semonstrate my work, please e-mail them to me.  Thanks.
